Express Entry

The federal pool, and how rounds are run

Express Entry is the online system IRCC uses to manage profiles for several federal permanent residence programmes. Candidates who meet a programme's requirements are placed in a pool and ranked against each other. IRCC then runs rounds of invitations against that pool.
